This page explains what Emar Syria collects about you, why we collect it, and who we share it with.

What we collect

  • When you create an account: name, email address, phone number.
  • When you place an order: delivery address, governorate, phone number, and what you ordered.
  • When you contact us: whatever you send us by WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form.
  • Automatically as you browse: general technical data such as device type, store language, and the pages you visited.

We never collect bank card details. No card number passes through this site and we store no card data. The available payment methods are set out on the shipping and payment page and shown at checkout.

Why we use it

  • To process, deliver, and talk to you about your order.
  • To let the seller prepare the order and the courier deliver it.
  • To handle returns and disputes.
  • To improve the store — which products are searched for and not found, which pages do not work well.

Who we share it with

  • The seller of the product you ordered — only what they need to prepare it.
  • The courier carrying your order — name, address, and phone number, because the parcel cannot arrive without them.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share it with no one else unless the law requires it.

Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how Emar Syria is used and to improve performance and the shopping experience. The data sent may include technical and usage information such as pages visited, interactions in the store, traffic source, device type, store language, and non-identifying product or transaction data such as value, currency, and seller name.

We do not deliberately send Google Analytics your name, email address, phone number, address, or payment data. IP protection is enabled in the measurement settings, and we do not use analytics data to identify you directly.

Analytics cookies are only stored on your device after you select the "Google Analytics" service in the cookie dialog. You can refuse the service, or change or withdraw your consent, at any time from the site's cookie settings.

We also use cookies that are necessary to run the store — remembering your cart, keeping you signed in, and saving your language choice. These cannot be switched off, because the store does not work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep order data for as long as it is needed as a commercial record and to handle any later return or dispute. Account data stays while your account exists.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have your account and its personal data deleted. Write to service@emarsyria.com or message us on WhatsApp at +963 959 266 987.

We may need to keep the record of completed orders after an account is deleted, because it is an accounting record.

Security

The whole site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Within Emar Syria, only staff who need your data to do their job can see it.

Links to other sites

The store may link to external sites. We do not control their privacy practices and are not responsible for their content.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page and update the date below.
